Posted by Givonna Joseph on 28 January, 2012 at 23:50 Comments comments (0)

Yesterday January 27, 2012, OperaCreole had the opportunity to record "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen for John Boutte's new CD to be released soon! Not sure who John Boutte is? If you watch HBO's "Treme" you hear his voice on the title song. Go to

Other musicians on the recording are John Cleary on organ and piano, Raymond Weber on drums, and Nobi Ozaki on upright bass!!! The song combination of sounds, jazz, r&b and opera was amazing!!!

The album producer is Blake Leyh (music coordintor for "Treme")

More Info to come. Stay tuned!
